High Volume Production of Film & Sheet |
 |
Fusion Optix has two customized, high quality, optical films lines (6" and 12" widths) in-house at our Woburn MA facility. Both lines are used for the high volume production of film and sheet based upon polymers such as PMMA, PC, PET and PETG. We have developed highly specialized processes to produce optical films and sheet based upon our CORE™ technology. We have capacity to produce several million linear feet annualy and both film lines have been proven in large volume to meet even the strictest OEM quality standards. |

High Volume Production of Light Guides |
| |
Fusion Optix is a pioneer in light guide technologies and has extensive in-house capabilities for both rapid prototyping and volume manufacturing based upon both laser-etched and Fusion Optix's innovative integrated light guide technology. We are able to process light guides up to 3' x 2' in size and have plans to extend the capability to large sizes in the near future. |

Optical-grade Cleanroom Lamination |
| |
Fusion Optix has developed several proprietary processes for lamination (film-to-film and film-to-sheet) and for mating of materials. We have two cleanroom lamination stations (24" and 60" widths) each capable of being used for volume production. There are several bonding options including pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) and solvent or thermal and pressure. All lamination is conducted in a clean environment to eliminate particle defects and other contaminants. |

High Performance Coatings & Embossing |
| |
To help manufacture our innovative platform of multifunctional components and films, Fusion Optix has established in-house coating and embossing capabilities. We have the ability to apply prism, microlens, lenticular, and other specialized coatings to any of our material systems, in voluems ranging from prototyping to high volumes. |

Injection Molding & Thermoforming |
| |
Fusion Optix has developed the capability to mold lenses and diffusers from a variety of high performance materials. We are able to quickly turn around first article prototypes, and we then develop a process for high volume production that depends on the nature of the component. We are also able to increase functionality of the components through the molding process. |

CNC Routing & Laser Processing |
| |
Along with die cutting, we have CNC routing and laser processing capabilities for precision cutting, as well as scribing and engraving. This capability is particularly useful for rapid prototyping of lenses, diffusers, and LED systems such as backlights and light engines. |

Die Cutting |
| Fusion Optix developed die cutting capabilities in order to complement our optical film and component technology by supplying finished parts and sheets. We can die cut according to customer drawings, or we can develop drawings for components and systems that we develop for customers. |
