Fusion Optix product customization services are the fastest and most economical route for our customers to achieve tailored product performance. Our product design space is highly flexible and our applications support team is on hand, in most cases free of charge, to help scope any work as well as assist with any customer design questions and system-related issues. Fusion Optix recognizes that any customization requires not only a proper strategy regarding the change in product design but also an implementation of proper manufacturing and quality control systems. The challenge is often not product customization in itself but doing so in a profitable way. Fusion Optix has developed a broad implementation approach which offers a reduction of the lead time for products and quotations, faster and more qualified responses to customer inquiries, fewer transfers of responsibility and fewer specification mistakes, a reduction of the resources spent for the specification of customized products, and the possibility of optimizing the products according to customer demands.

| In addition to the processes and capabilities we have developed, patented technology is at the heart of all our products. This unique platform has been developed with the specific aim of making product customization on many levels both feasible and cost effective. Product customization projects typically incur a small non-recurring engineering charge (NRE) which varies based upon the degree of customization required. As an example; the customization of the output diffusion profile in one of our optical films or the tailoring of the output of an LED backlight modules might result in an NRE of a few thousand dollars. More complex product customization projects may result in slightly higher charges or could require a new product development (NPD) project. |

| If the decision is made to commission an NPD project, Fusion Optix multi-disciplinary product development teams are assigned to move quickly from requirements capture through to production.
