We have innovative, sophisticated, disruptive technology.  By applying LightControl™ Technology to display and lighting components, we are able to produce highly efficient optical films, diffusers, light guides, and LED arrays, as well as systems built on that platform. Our diffusion films employ volumetric diffusion allowing us to apply secondary processes such as thermoforming, molding, adhering to other substrates, and die cutting, without significantly affecting the optical properties of the film. We are also able to apply light control coatings to the surface of the film allowing us to not only obscure light sources and increase uniformity, but also to control the photometrics of light fixtures and displays in a single film. We combine the film, light guides and LED arrays to product cutting edge LED BLUs and SSL Lighting Systems. We hold a number of patents focused on key innovations in both the display and lighting markets.

We can produce things quickly.  We strive to keep lead-times short, without sacrificing quality, in order to help you bring quality products to market faster. Short lead-times are available for prototype quantities: custom sized light guides - typically <1 week; custom optical film - <4 weeks; custom lens based on standard film - <2 weeks; and small quantities of custom cut film will go out in a day or two. We can produce full systems in 4-5 weeks, depending on complexity.

We are dependable producers for OEM customers.  With reliable and repeatable high volume production methods, we provide OEM customers with a dependable supply of product to specification and on-time. At Fusion Optix we adhere to high levels of internal process control and reliability testing that well exceed the industry norm.

We know that two heads are better than one.  By collaborating early on in the optical system design, we can ensure a design that provides the most efficient total system possible. We like working closely with our customers early on in the design process in order to offer them choices and to educate them on the design trade-offs. By speaking your language, and thoroughly understanding your application, we can translate your final product requirements into lighting system and component requirements. Already into the design process? Fine by us; we can provide the best options available to hit your fixture specifications.

We go beyond specifications and calculations.  We know that the SSL lighting industry is rife with companies who quote specifications based on the LED manufacturers' specs without taking into account system design and performance. We don't. We know that the total optical system plays into efficiency, color, CRI, heat, and power consumption. We specify and test the entire lighting system, not just the LEDs.

We are creative problem solvers that keep the big picture in mind.  By engaging in innovative optical design, we are able to push the boundaries of lighting systems, featuring top of their class design and energy efficiency ratings. By staying mindful of SSL EnergyStar and UL qualification criteria when we develop light engines and LED arrays, we are able to produce cutting edge products that are capable of meeting the most stringent energy efficiency and safety standards. We strive to produce lighting systems that we would want to use in our own office and homes.
