Technology Overview
ColorRemote™ Technology provides the LED system designer with new levels of color control and spectral customization. Color output properties for a range of color inputs can be easily customized. ColorRemote™ Technology is based upon precise control of our proprietary material formulations during manufacture and often includes the additional incorporation of fluorescent dies, pigments, phosphors and quantum dots. Typical results using ColorTune™ Technology for an LED downlight application include increasing efficiency by more than 20% to greater than 100lm/W and improving CRI from 80 to 95. Key color parameters such as u' v' can also be adjusted and ColorRemote™ Technology also enables so called "remote phosphor" architectures.
