Fusion Optix is one of the world's thought leaders when it comes to light guides. We have now pioneered several new technologies and applications of light guides in flat panel displays and general illumination.
Optics Inside™ technology is a disruptive approach to design of optics and is fundamentally more efficient than embossed, holographic or bulk additive approaches. Fusion Optix has developed a unique range of components with embedded light management properties in the volume of various optics form factors. The range includes films, sheets and 3D parts such as light guides and diffusion lenses.
Fusion Optix has developed a range of innovations that can be applied to beam shaping and light control applications. Compared to the traditional approach, the integration of multiple TIR lenses and holders into a single integrated sheet provides simpler more cost effective lighting products.
ColorTune™ Technology can be used to customize color output properties for a range of color inputs. This is achieved by precise control of our proprietary material formulations during manufacture and often includes the additional incorporation of fluorescent dies, pigments, phosphors and quantum dots. ColorTune™ Technology can be used to increase efficiency and key color parameters such as u' v' and CRI and also enables so called "remote phosphor" architectures.
ColorSure™ Technology significantly reduces yellowing and degradation of materials over time. This is achieved by precise control of our proprietary material formulations during manufacture and includes the incorporation of UV inhibitors and materials that suppress outgassing.
