Bob has nearly 26 years of experience in leading global businesses that grow via Product and process innovation, acquisition, venturing, and marketing. Thus far he has been associated with launching 50+ new businesses, and 100's of new products and services which produced over $1B in revenue. During the 1980's and 1990's he worked for an early stage venture firm, Kewit Investors Corporation, Dow Chemical Company and The General Electric Company. During his 12-year tenure with General Electric, he was a General Manager of businesses with annual sales revenue ranging from $10MM to $2B and served at an executive level in a variety of functional areas including manufacturing, finance, technology, sales and marketing. From 2000 to 2005 he was an Executive Vice President at Smurfit-Stone and Eastman Chemical Co. in charge of corporate strategy, commercialization of new technology, venturing and marketing activities. Bob has also served as a Director on a variety of boards from the 16th largest credit union in the U.S. to a variety of early-stage companies including current portfolio companies, SiGNa Chemistry and Trophos Energy.

Bob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis on international high-tech management from Northeastern University in Boston.

Bruce Berkoff

Bruce Berkoff is the founding Chairman of the LCD TV Association based in Beaverton, Oregon, USA. Prior to this, Mr. Berkoff led Enuclia Semiconductor from late 2005, a top-tier VC funded fables semiconductor startup in the HDTV video processor space. Mr. Berkoff was CEO and later Chairman of the BOD for Enuclia, joining them from LG.Philips LCD. During his six years with LG.Philips LCD in Seoul, Korea, Mr. Berkoff was Executive Vice- President and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Before that, Mr. Berkoff served as general manager of Philips Flat Display Systems' software and electronics business unit in Silicon Valley. He has also held executive management positions at several technology companies, including UMAX Computer Corporation, Radius, and SuperMac Technologies.

Mr. Berkoff holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in physics and biophysics from Princeton and the University of California, Berkeley, respectively. He also has display related patents both granted and pending in the U.S. and China.

Dr. I-Wei Wu joined Intel Corp. in 1983and worked on the development of their first successful CMOS product. He joined Xerox PARC in 1984 to work on CMOS device physics and processing technology. In Feb. 1997, he came back to Taiwan and joined ERSO, ITRI,in charge of the Flat Panel Display Program. In 1999, he founded and later joined as Executive VP, and then Managing Director (2004), Toppoly Optoelectronics Corp., the first volume manufacturer of LTPS LCD and OLED displays in Taiwan.

Dr. Wu holds a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley. He has published more than 130 technical papers and holds 16 patents with 32 more in application. In 2002, he received the Industrial Greatest Personal Contribution Award from the Ministry of Economy, Taiwan Central Government. He was elected SID Fellow in 2003. He is also a visiting full professor in the Institute of Technology Management, National Chiao-Tung University.

Bob began his career in manufacturing and operations management before progressing through executive officer positions at both Pitney Bowes and Nashua Corporation, focusing on graphic arts and imaging supplies markets. In addition to his operations experience, Bob has a strong private equity background. He is currently serving on the board of The Treofan Group on behalf of EOS Partners. The Treofan Group is owned by a consortium led by Goldman Sachs, and also includes DOR Chemicals and Bain Capital. The Treofan Group has global operations to develop, manufacture and market high-performance films for a wide variety of applications and is one of the world’s largest producers of high performance films. Bob has also been a general partner in the private equity firm of Stolberg Partners and has served as a key executive in portfolio companies of several other private equity firms.

Bob is a graduate of Wright State University (BA), Antioch College (MA) and Harvard (PMD) program. He has also consulted with companies in the graphic arts, manufacturing, food, mail order, service and distribution industries.
