The LED Light Engines represents a new line of light fixture designs that leverage our LightControl™ components and Lumen™ LED arrays. Accent™ can be any shape or size; we are currently focused on circular, edge-lit designs that take advantage of our Advanced Diffusion Films and Light Guides and LumenFlex assemblies. These designs can be used as down lights, step lights, or task lights.
We consider 3 key requirements when designing light fixtures:
Optical efficiency – the system must have good overall optical efficiency; we consider each component individually in order to maximize lumen output of the system.
Optical aesthetic – the optical components should be unobtrusive; we eliminate bulky optics and protect components from yellowing.
Light distribution – every application requires a different intensity distribution; LightControl™ technology allows us to match distributions to the appropriate application.
