Advanced Diffusion Light Guides are powered by proprietary patterns for single and double edge lit designs to achieve the highesst uniformity output. Our ADLs are designed to work with widely spaced LEDs without hot-spotting inherent in edge lighting, and to ensure even illumination throughout the entire screen.
The light travels from the LEDs into the light guide and exits upon hitting the microstructures that angle that light in the direction of the face of the backlight.
