| Fusion Optix is a privately held company registered in Delaware, USA as Fusion Optix Inc., and in England and Wales as Fusion Optix UK Limited. Initial funding and working capital was provided in 2003 by the company’s founder, Dr. Terence Yeo.
Series A and Series B investments followed, provided by a prominent group of independent private equity investors from Boston and Philadelphia.
Fusion Optix subsequently closed its first institutional round of investment in May 2006 with investments from Goldman Sachs (London) and Prudence Capital (Taipei). This investment underlined the potential for the company and confirmed its intention to develop on a global scale.
